iLuna is a comprehensive astrological calendar that offers a range of interactive features. The app allows users to easily access information about the lunar phase, the Moon's position in the signs of the zodiac and mansions, as well as the periods of void-of-course Moon and retrograde Mercury. Covering a wide timeframe from 2005 to 2050, iLuna provides detailed descriptions for each phase, sign, and mansion. With multiple navigation options available, users can explore the information in a manner that is most convenient for them, whether it be phase-by-phase, day-by-day, or month-by-month.
The various aspects of iLuna offer valuable insights for different purposes. Phases reveal the energy of the day, while signs capture the mood. Void-of-course periods can provide guidance on when it may be best to avoid certain activities. Mansions, which have been utilized by cultures throughout history, highlight auspicious or less favorable days. Additionally, the app tracks the periods of retrograde Mercury, which can spark unique ideas but also disrupt business activities.
Notably, iLuna now includes markings for eclipses during New and Full Moons.
Accurate timing is ensured by iLuna utilizing the device's time zone settings. In other words, if your iPhone or iPad displays your local time correctly, you can trust that iLuna's information will be precise as well.
Notifications are available for users who allow the app to send them. Once any of the events reported by iLuna occur, you will receive a notification.
